About the PRS PTO

The PRS PTO is committed to enhancing and enriching the education of our children and fostering a sense of community within our school together with our parents/guardians, teachers, and students. We aim to strengthen and support the connection between home and school to keep parents informed and updated with PTO activities and events.

As a member of the PRS PTO, we encourage you to participate in PTO activities and events. There are no dues to pay, and because our PTO is not affiliated with a dues-based national organization, all of the fundraising money collected helps fund PRS PTO initiatives that directly benefit our children. We raise funds to support student enrichment initiatives, foster communication between home and school, hold family-based activities throughout the year, and supply teachers with needed materials and resources - all to provide our children with the best educational experience possible.

How can you help and get involved with the PTO? There is a nearly endless list of possible ways in which you can volunteer your time and energy. There are various volunteer positions and commitment levels with some positions with more face time and others more behind the scenes. No matter how large or small a role you choose to play, you are always welcome (and encouraged) to attend our regular meetings to keep informed, voice your opinions and stay connected to your children’s school.
